Hands On With Robots!

The Robots Are Coming!

Do you have a child of any age who’d like to get some hands on experience with robots?  That’s right, robots!  Come on out to your library to meet ROI, robot mascot for the Robotics Outreach Initiative.

The Kaleidoscope Discovery Center in Rolla, in partnership with AmeriCorps Vista and the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, is working towards a goal of introducing robotics to at least 1,000 kids this summer.  The team, along with ROI and some other great gadgets, will visit the Waynesville and Crocker Libraries this week.

See them on Thursday, July 13th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Crocker Library and again on Friday, July 14th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Waynesville Library.  It’s a pretty flexible program, so you’re welcome to come and stay for the whole time, or just drop in as you have a chance.

Again, programs are:

Crocker Library – 7/13 – 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Waynesville Library – 7/14 – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
